Q:  I want to cover the Summit.  How can I register?

A:  You can register online at and collect your pass at the Media Registration Counter located in the Information Office on the 1st Floor of the Convention Center during 13 – 20 May 2013 from 9.00 – 12.00 hrs. and 14.00 – 16.30 hrs.

Q:  If did not or could not register online.  What should I do?

A:  You can also register onsite at the Media Registration Counter inside the Information Office on the 1st Floor of the Convention Center.

Q:  Does my Media Pass allow me to access all events during the Summit?

A:  Your pass will give you access to the Media Center.  Access to certain events, especially those in the restricted areas, may require additional overpasses or approval by the Media Secretariat.

Q:  Which events are open / closed to the media?

A:  Most events at the Summit are open to all media.  Some are restricted to official and invited media.  Only the Leaders’ Working Breakfast and Luncheon on 20 May 2013 are closed.  Please consult the Media Availability Programme which will be updated and posted online and on the bulletin board in the Media Center on the 2nd Floor of the Convention Center.

Q:  How can I obtain a copy of the statements delivered at the Leaders’ Forum?

A:  Hard copies of the statements, as well as press releases and other documents, will be available at the Media Centre.  You can also obtain electronic copies at the Summit’s official website at

Q:  Where can I obtain pictures of the closed events?

A:  Photos from both open and closed events at the Summit will be available in the Photo Gallery at 

Q:  I want to interview someone from the XXX delegation?  Whom should I contact?

A:  Please come to the Media Center and file a request.  You can also contact the following Media Coordinators.

Q:  Can I cover bilateral meetings or other events not included on the official programme?

A:  Announcements about media opportunities for bilateral meetings will be displayed on the Information Board near the Media Center.  When a bilateral meeting is open to media coverage, media members have to assemble at the Media Assembly Point near the Media Centre to collect their Media Overpasses and be accompanied by Thai Media Secretariat Representative(s) into the restricted area.

 Q:  Can I obtain video/audio signals of the Summit for live or re- broadcasting in my country?

A:  MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT Plc.), the Host Broadcaster, provides international quality coverage of the opening ceremony and press conference to all media members at Dropout Area (10 SD-SDI, 5 HD-SDI embedded audio), the International Broadcasting Center located on the 1st floor of the Convention Center.

 Q:  Will there be media briefings during the Summit?

A: Please check the Information Board nearby the Media Secretariat Office for the latest schedule of media briefings.

If your questions are not answered here, please come to the Media Center or contact the Media Coordinator to make your inquiries.
